The writer shares some news about the purchase of a slave (Khvajah) for the crown prince from Somalia for two thousand tumans and mentions that Aqa brought four Kaniz (female slaves) for Khalah Jan, Mahmud Khan, Mademoiselle, and the writer. Three of them are Baluchis and one is Bambasi. Aqa also brought a male slave as a souvenir for the writer; his name is Qanbar. S/he then describes three things that s/he wanted during the three years that Aqa was governing the ports and has them all now: a good gun, a mare called ‘Abid, and now Qanbar. Banu-yi Ashraf records her memories of the historical events that occurred in Ashraf (Bihshahr) in 1924, starting on May 6th. The events recorded include a conflict between Turkaman forces and those loyal to Riza Khan.

Kulliyat of Tajmah Khanum
Tajmah Khanum wrote this book, composed of three parts. The first part consists of nearly 120 verses. The first poem is a sonnet written by the poet when she was 16 and the last one was written to praise Riza Shah. The second part is more than 20 letters and notes, which are mostly administrative and legal. Other letters were addressed to women who where contemporaries of Tajmah Khanum. The third part of this book is a selection of poems by Persian poets from Rudaki to the Qajar period.
